How To Make Razor Blade Cartridges Last Longer: A 1-Second Solution to High Prices that Pays for Itself

June 15, 2009

In an hilarious article in the Modesto Bee — “Razor Blade Prices Could Use a Shave” — Jeff Jardine talks about how expensive the Mach3® and Fusion® cartridges have gotten … “a 12-pack for about $26, an eight-pack for $20 and a three-pack for $8” … and how no razor blade, no matter how much you pay for it, can “prevent the stubble from returning several hours later, no matter how well they work.”

Prices on razor blade cartridges have risen so high, in fact, that they have become the target of organized retail crime. Popular products with these “razor robbers” include Crest® Whitestrips, Rogaine®, Similac® baby formula, razor blades, and pregnancy tests, with razor blade cartridges being the most shoplifted item at supermarkets and drug stores all across the country.

Jeff’s idea of a solution to the high price of razor blade cartridges is to grow what he calls a “recession beard,” but we think we’ve discovered a better idea … a gadget that’s guaranteed to extend the life of your razor blade cartridge for a *year* or more.

Imagine not having to buy razor blade cartridges for at least 12 months! Think of how much money you’d save!

Plus, you get a much better shave with a super sharp blade than with a dull one. It doesn’t tear up your skin so much, and it’s not as likely to give you razor burn or shaving bumps.

We’re talking, here, about a clever little gadget that snaps on over your razor blade cartridge and prevents the blades from becoming corroded … or, to put it another way, that keeps them razor sharp. And it only takes 1 second to snap it on!

EverAfterShave Razor Blade Cartridge Snap-On Protector

EverAfterShave Razor Blade Cartridge Snap-On Protector

It’s the “EverAfterShave Razor Blade Cartridge Protector”, by Hoffman Engineered Solutions, and it’s compatible with Gillette’s® Fusion®, Mach3® and SensorExcel® cartridges … but Gillette does not support or encourage the use of the “EverAfterShave Razor Blade Cartridge Protector” … which stands to reason, when you think about it … after all, it’s not in *their* best interests for *you* to have a way of getting a year’s worth of shaves out of just *one* cartridge!

Think of how much land-fill resources we’d all save if the entire shaving population of the United States were to use the “EverAfterShave Razor Blade Cartridge Protector” … it works out to an estimated 20,000 *tons* of waste per year that would be eliminated from our landfills !!!

And by the way, this gadget is ready for use immediately upon purchase … no assembly required !!!

Enjoy!

Have A Nice Day!

Hi, Lead Generation …

The first step in solving the razor bumps problem is to shave with a very sharp blade. This usually means a new blade, but it can also mean a blade that has been protected from corrosion, as it is the jagged edge of a corroded blade that tends to tear up your skin.

The second step is to not shave too close. There is a special razor that has been designed for this. It will be available soon.

The third step is to apply Razor Bump Preventer & Treatment cream. It will not only get rid of the shaving bumps you have now, it will act to prevent more bumps from forming.

Hey, pretty cool. That’s an idea, keeping the razor from corroding. The cost of what seems to be throw-away razors is ridiculous.

Hello, Jimmy …

You hit the nail on the head !!! I couldn’t agree more !!!

Plus, I’ve discovered another great benefit of the EverAfterShave Razor Blade Protector … it protects *other* things *from* the blade when you’re not using it.

Like, when you go traveling, you can just toss your razor into your kit without fear of it cutting anything … including but not limited to your fingers !!! … because it’s got the protector clamped on over the blades, so it can’t do any damage to anything, and nothing can do any damage to it.

It’s really a tremendous little invention.

I’ll pop back in here on the 1st day of summer, 2010, and let you know if the blades are still as sharp as the day I first clamped it on my husband’s razor.

Regards, Elizabeth …

What a great idea! Just the info on the EAS alone makes this site a gem! Good job, Elizabeth.
